Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico traveled to Brussels on Thursday for an extraordinary summit of the European Council. TASR was informed about this by the press and information department of the Slovak Government Office.

“The leaders of the G27 will discuss transatlantic relations in the Belgian capital. The extraordinary summit was called by the President of the European Council, António Costa, and will start at 7:00 p.m.,” the government office said.

A few days ago, Costa reported that on Thursday evening, the leaders of the member states of the European Union will meet at an extraordinary summit due to the threats of US President Donald Trump related to Greenland.
