The 2026 Acre Football Championship resumes today (22) with the second round, which will be held at the Arena da Floresta stadium, in Rio Branco. The journey features important clashes in the fight for points in the first phase.

At 5pm, Humaitá faces Santa Cruz in search of their first victory in the competition. The two teams started the state with a draw in the opening round and are looking to add the first three points in the table.
Then, at 7pm, the derby between Rio Branco and Galvez promises to attract the attention of fans. Both teams enter the field after winning their debut matches and want to maintain their 100% record in the state competition.

There is still no official confirmation about the opening of the gates to the public this Thursday, but expectations are growing among fans and clubs. Acreanão Sicredi’s debut, last week, was held behind closed doors in the initial round due to the lack of release of technical reports for the Antônio Aquino Lopes Stadium (O Florestão), a traditional sports venue in Rio Branco. The Acre Football Federation (FFAC) reported that the absence of the Fire Department document prevented the presence of fans in Florestão, leading to the games being held without an authorized audience.
With the Arena da Floresta released for official games from this round onwards, the expectation is that the competition will be able to receive fans, if the security and logistical conditions are confirmed by the start of the matches.
