The governor of São Paulo, (Republicans), will participate this Sunday (25th) in an event in memory of the victims of , the third time he has attended the ceremony, one of the most symbolic in the Jewish community’s calendar.
The event is scheduled for 6pm at the Congregação Israelita Paulista Synagogue, in Cerqueira César.
The event is organized by Conib (Confederação Israelita do Brasil), Fisesp (Federação Israelita do Estado de São Paulo), CIP (Congregação Israelita Paulista) and StandWithUs Brasil, in reference to the International Day in Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust.

In 2005, the UN General Assembly adopted January 27 as International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Holocaust, to remember the date on which he was freed.
