The alert level in Rio Branco is 13.50 meters, while the overflow level is 14.00 meters — a level that has continued to be exceeded since the early hours of the day. In the last 24 hours, the accumulated volume of rain was 16.20 millimeters, directly contributing to the rise of the river.

According to the municipal coordinator of Civil Defense, Lieutenant Colonel Cláudio Falcão, the situation remains under permanent monitoring. The teams pay extra attention to the areas most vulnerable to flooding and do not rule out the adoption of new preventive measures if the level rises again.

Civil Defense advises that the population only follows official bulletins and follows the recommendations of protection agencies, especially residents of riverside neighborhoods.
