The body of elderly Dagmar Grimm Streger, aged 76, found in a deactivated well on a rural property in Bauru (SP), showed signs of significant trauma to the skull region, according to a preliminary assessment carried out on site. The case is being investigated as a robbery and concealment of a corpse.

According to the Civil Police, the body showed signs of decomposition, in addition to possible head trauma, which will still be confirmed and detailed by expert examinations from the Legal Medical Institute (IML).
Next to the body, investigators found an identification document and a bank card in the victim’s name. The investigations point to the property’s caretakers, Paulo and Daniela, as the main suspects. The couple left the place abruptly after the elderly woman disappeared, and the victim’s vehicle, a Fiat Strada, had also disappeared.
According to the police, the car was later located after being negotiated in different cities in the interior of São Paulo. The couple ended up temporarily arrested on December 24, in Paraná.
The case remains under investigation by the General Investigations Department (DIG) of Bauru, which is awaiting expert reports to clarify the dynamics of the death.
