Carlos Silva and Gonçalo Sousa, the son and boyfriend of Sara Santos, one of the recruits from the 1st Company, were on the TVI program ‘Dois à 10’ this Friday, January 23rd, talking to Cláudio Ramos.
At one point, when speaking to the two guests about the help that this program could bring to the journalist, particularly in combating alcohol problems, Gonçalo Sousa explained that the addition came after the death of his daughter, in February 2018.
“She has been doing better lately. What was worse was when what happened. I always tried to give her support and I’m always there for her, whether in good times or bad times and I try hard to keep her from falling.”he began by saying. “Now, in the last year, practically, she has been fine, she has been better. We drink, I drink occasionally but we chose a 0.5% wine, something light”realized.
In turn, Carlos Silva also gave his opinion, highlighting that he had a conversation with his mother before joining the TVI program: “It was one of the main things I asked her, if there was going to be alcohol in this program, my mother said that if there was, it would be at a possible party and that’s it… Because, really, to combat an addiction you need help and to break it. And on a program like this and on top of that looking at an incredible group, I think it was, perhaps, the best decision she’s made recently”he assured.
