A University of São Paulo announced this Friday (23) the list of those approved for the first call of Enem-USP 2026. In this edition, the selection process offered 1,500 vacanciesfilled out using the notes from the National High School Examination.

The opportunities were distributed between different types of competition, respecting the affirmative action system adopted by the university:

684 vacancies for Broad Competition;
-
512 vacancies for students graduating from public schools (EP);
-
304 vacancies for black, brown and indigenous candidates (PPI).
In addition to the first call already published, USP plans to publish two more approved listson the days February 3rd and 10th. If there are still vacancies remaining, there will also be calls through the waiting list.
How registration works
Successful candidates must comply with two steps online To secure your place: Virtual Pre-Registration ea Effective Virtual Enrollment.
Enrollment will only be considered complete after validation of all required documents. For students who enter through affirmative action, there are additional requirements.

Specific Steps for Affirmative Action

PPI Candidatesregardless of income, who attended all of high school in a public school, will be enrolled only after validation of hetero-identification;

PPI candidates with per capita family income of up to 1.5 minimum wagepublic school graduates, must go through socioeconomic analysis and heteroidentification;

EP candidates with per capita family income of up to 1.5 minimum wage also need the validation of socioeconomic documents.
Virtual Pre-Registration
Virtual Pre-Registration must be carried out at USP Systemthrough an electronic form, between 8am on January 27th and 12pm on January 30th.
The required documents (front and back, in digital format) are:

High school graduation certificate or diploma, with academic transcript;

Undergraduate diploma (only for those who have already completed a higher education course), when applicable;

Official identity document with photo;

Recent, color photograph, with white background;
-
Racial self-declaration, for PPI candidates.
Foreign applicants must also present specific documentation, such as a valid foreigner’s identity and a certificate of equivalence for studies carried out abroad, with a sworn translation.
Effective Virtual Enrollment
The second stage, called Effective Virtual Enrollmentoccurs between 8am on February 23rd and 12pm on February 25thdirectly on the USP website. At this stage, the procedure is simpler and follows the university’s guidelines.
USP warns that the candidate who not complying with any of the stepsincluding hetero-identification or socioeconomic analysis when required, will be disqualified from the selection process.
