History and foreign relations specialist Adam Howard, a former member of the government, will give a talk at Freedom Forum 2026, a liberal event that will be held at PUC-RS, in Porto Alegre, on April 9th and 10th.
Howard joined the State Department of the American government in 2025, in the role of historian. In his talk, he will address geopolitics, the relationship between Western and Eastern values in the current international context and how the United States has positioned itself. The historian left the Trump administration last year and took over as executive director of the International Churchill Society.
The theme of the 39th edition of the event will be “Brazil has a way”. Last year, the event brought together around 6,700 registrants at the PUC-RS Events Center and registered more than 70 speakers.
The event is organized by the IEE (Institute of Business Studies), which aims to encourage and prepare new leaders, based on the concepts of free initiative and individual freedoms.
