It turns out that you can clean it in winter in…snow. This is the method our grandmothers used to get rid of mites and dust.
How to wash a carpet in snow? It’s very simple. First, we place the carpet on a thick layer of snow with the pile side down and cover it with white fluff, e.g. using a broom.leaving for about 15 minutes. After this time, we repeat the process with the other side.
If the snow turns gray, move the sidewalk to another, clean place. Finally, beat it with a whisk to get rid of the white fluff. We do it slowly and carefully, without pressing. After all this, it will be ready to wrap and bring home.
