How activist can research be?


How political can science be? And how visible can researchers become if they publicly engage in climate protection? These questions concern not only activists, but also science itself. Anyone who takes to the streets as a researcher must expect reactions – both positive and negative. What is therefore crucial is: How do researchers who publicly advocate for their cause actually reach the public? Are they perceived more positively or more negatively?
