The model Waleska Gorczevski28 years old, is the only Brazilian to star in Chanel’s new global campaign, with the designer’s creative direction Matthew Blazywho took over the creative direction of the brand in December 2024, after the departure of Virginie Viard.
With signature of Alec Soththe photos were taken at the historic La Pausa house, on the French Riviera – a place where she used to receive friends, including Salvador Dalí and Luchino Visconti. After undergoing restoration, the place seeks to reconnect the maison’s founder with the new designer.

Who is Waleska Gorczevski?
Established in the industry, the young woman is one of the stars of the Brazilian agency Thinkers Mgt, being revealed after being seen in Florianópolis, by businessman Rodrigo Toigo, in 2013.
It debuted in São Paulo, exploded in New York, and became a recurring presence from Paris to Milan, London to Tokyo, among other cities around the world. In its first fashion season, it had a total of 67 shows.

Born in Florianópolis, Waleska has worked for prestigious brands such as, and , as well as titles such as record holder for international fashion shows in 2015, and inclusion in rankings on Models.com.
An art lover, he creates and discovers himself as an artist since he was little, following his father’s drawings and his mother’s patchwork creations. With a sensitive way of observing the world, he creates exploring everything from photography, painting, collages or music, having even released experimental songs on Spotify under the nickname “8W8”.
The Brazilian also seeks to connect with nature and sport: when she was little, she practiced judo for 5 years, reaching her purple belt. He has also done Jeet Kune do (JKD), boxing, surfing and Muay Thai.
“I was called to compete. Who knows, maybe one day”, she recalls. “It’s very good for releasing everyday tension, and as a woman, it’s important to be able to defend yourself,” she says. “I am very inspired by my father, who is a marathon runner and 60+ competitor”, he says.
