On the occasion, the municipal secretary of Health, Renan Biths, highlighted the City Hall’s integrated action in serving families affected by the Acre River floods.
“Teams from the Department of Social Assistance, Civil Defense and Health are mobilized to provide all the necessary support to the affected families. Many people had to leave their homes and, in some cases, lost their belongings, which makes working together to reduce suffering and guarantee better reception conditions at the Exhibition Park even more important,” he stated.
The councilor reinforced that he will continue to permanently monitor the situation of shelters and demand measures to ensure better conditions for families affected by the floods.
