Hector wins thrilling giant slalom in Spindleruv Mlyn, Scheib eliminated


Spindleruv Mlyn (Spindlermühle) – The ball decision in the women’s giant slalom has been postponed. The four-time season winner Julia Scheib was eliminated in the final on Saturday after finishing third in the half in Spindleruv Mlyn. The Swede Sara Hector won ahead of the Americans Paula Moltzan (+0.18) and Mikaela Shiffrin (+0.23). The Swiss Camille Rast came fourth, she is 89 points behind Scheib in the Discipline World Cup with two races to go. Hector also still has a chance at Crystal.
