Military personnel from the 8th BPM arrest suspect with narcotics in the interior of Acre

Military police officers from the 8th Battalion arrested a suspect carrying 24 packages of a whitish substance, supposedly cocaine, weighing approximately 254 grams. The drug was hidden inside a Styrofoam container apparently used to deliver products.

The incident was recorded after teams from the Ostensive Rapid Intervention and Saturation Group received information that the man was circulating disguised as a “delivery man”, carrying the Styrofoam that, in fact, contained the illicit material.

The approach and arrest took place on Rua Boulevard Cafezal, in the Cafezal neighborhood, in Sena Madureira.

After the action, the suspect and all the seized material were sent to the municipality’s Civil Police Station for appropriate measures.
