Pauhofová took on the Slovak government in the Czech Republic: Escape, as they say in our country! This year it will become visible

Slovak actress Táňa Pauhofová (42) enjoys great popularity, especially in the Czech Republic, where she stars in many popular films. Pauhofová is one of the actresses who involuntarily left the Slovak National Theater (SND) as part of the consolidation. In an interview for internet television in the Czech Republic, she openly admitted how he perceives the current events in Slovakia.

SND cancels a total of almost ten percent of places. The measure related to consolidation concerns all departments of the theater, i.e. ballet, opera, drama, art and decoration workshops, as well as administration.

“From the government regulation, as well as the budget approved by the National Council of the Slovak Republic, i.e. not only the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, savings on labor costs across all areas, not excluding culture, can be seen. The layoffs thus affect all ministries and all state institutions.” SND stated.

According to publicized information, five members of the drama are to end in SND. In addition to Pauhofová, Martin Šalacha, Daniel Žulčák, Roman Poláčik and Anna Magdaléna Hroboňová should be involved. The likeable artist considers this to be the least of our worries. “I think that if in two years the elections do not turn out better than the last ones, then the situation of the National Theater will be our least problem.” she declared.

He does not see shortcomings only in the department of culture. “Everyone who observes at least a little what this re-elected government has achieved in the past two years, what condition our country is in and now across all departments, not only in the department of culture. And we’re at halftime, and they still have two years left, and they’re taking it really seriously,” she described how she perceives the current government.

Pauhofová expects that the perception of Slovaks will change. “People are already really feeling the dissatisfaction and I think that this year it will start to be very noticeable and visible even for those who may have been living in some naive idea until now. that what they hear, those promises, that how things will be better for them and how peace will be brought, how everything will be cheaper, how there will be peace and so on, that they only heard that, but the act of escape, as they say in our country, is nowhere to be seen. So they become nervous and irritable. In my opinion, the polarization in our country is already catastrophic,” said the actress.
