The Pentagon carried out this Friday, the 23rd, under orders from Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, another attack against a vessel in the Eastern Pacific that would be involved in drug trafficking operations, according to the US Southern Command (SouthCom).
“Two narco-terrorists were killed and one survived the attack,” wrote the SouthCom account on the X network.
US President Donald Trump also expanded threats in the Middle East, stating that he is “watching Iran closely”.
The Pentagon has been sending military assets to the Middle East this week, including an aircraft carrier group and its thousands of troops, as Trump indicates he is holding out the possibility of attacks on Tehran. Today, AirFrance-KLM suspended flights in the region amid tensions.
