One child died and two other people were injured after collapse of a residential building in the Saracuruna neighborhood, in Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense, in Rio de Janeiro. The state’s Military Fire Department was called at 2:40 am this Saturday (24) for a falling slab.
When the teams arrived, the minor was found dead in the rubble of the burial. A man, a woman and a dog were rescued alive. The two survivors were taken to the Adão Pereira Nunes Municipal Hospital, in Jardim Primavera, about four kilometers from the scene of the incident.

The cause of the collapse has not yet been reported. The Municipal Civil Defense Secretariat published on Friday (23) an alert for between the 23rd and 26th due to heavy rain.
