Case in court

Last Wednesday (21), . According to the Public Ministry, several documents were seized that confirm, with certainty, that the scheme took place for a much longer time than the authorities imagined.

Scandal

box 3A, identified in internal documents as the “presidency room”, would have been passed on to an intermediary, Rita de Cassia Adriana Prado, responsible for commercially exploiting the space during singer Shakira’s show in February.

This was the trigger for the opening of the impeachment process for Julio Casares.

Tickets were sold for up to R$2,100, with estimated revenue of R$132,000 for this performance at the São Paulo stadium alone.

The situation took legal shape after Adriana filed a lawsuit in the 3rd Civil Court of São Paulo against Carolina Lima Cassemiro, from Cassemiro Eventos Ltda.

Adriana alleges that Carolina withheld, without authorization, an envelope with 60 tickets from the box on the day of the show, after partial payment of the agreed amount. The case was also recorded in a police report.

In the audio, Schwartzmann shows concern about the consequences of the legal process and states that the scheme could be revealed to the courts.

In several sections, he pressures Adriana to withdraw the action, warning of possible damage to the image of Mara Casaresby Julio Casares and superintendent Marcio Carlomagno, cited as responsible for authorizing the transfer of the box.

The director also admits, at a certain point, that he “gained” from the transfer of boxes.

Mara Casares, in turn, appears in the recording asking Adriana to end the process to avoid harm to her career at São Paulo Futebol Clube. The director claims to have future plans in São Paulo and says that she would be the main loser if the case progressed through the courts.

In the process, Adriana says that Carolina took from her hands an envelope with 60 tickets from box 3A at Morumbis, on February 13, without authorization. She claims that the tickets were purchased by Carolina’s company for R$132,000, but only R$100,000 was paid.

Adriana registered a police report at the 34th Police Station, in São Paulo. Therefore, she was pressured by the others involved. Phone records were recorded and accessed by “ge”.
