The fact that the bishop’s liturgical clothing includes the “Albe” – a long, white robe that “symbolizes purity and the baptismal robe”. That the bishop’s crosier is called “the pastoral” in clerical jargon. Or that God doesn’t want the new Archbishop of Vienna to be “perfect, but available” – “like all of us.” Without a doubt, a reassuring message for all believers.
