According to the corporation, the woman reported that the animal had been in the water for some time, trying to get out without success. Already quite tired, the dog began to sink, which indicated an imminent risk of drowning.

The neighbor even recorded a video of the scene and sent it to the garrison of the 5th Military Firefighter Battalion (5th BBM), reinforcing the seriousness of the case.

As there were no residents in the property, firefighters needed to access the house by jumping over the wall to carry out the rescue.

The dog was safely removed from the pool and, despite the scare, had no apparent injuries and was left in a safe place.

In a statement, the Fire Department reinforced the importance of keeping pool areas properly isolated, as a way of preventing accidents involving children and animals.
