The government of Acre, through the Department of Highways, Waterway and Airport Infrastructure (Deracre), is working this Saturday, 24th, on asphalting Rua Pedro Alexandrino, one of the main urban roads in Feijó. The work receives an investment of R$2.4 million, with the State’s own resources and federal resources, through a parliamentary amendment.
On site, teams carry out drainage services, asphalt paving, recovery of damaged sections, construction of accessible public sidewalks and implementation of road signs, ensuring better traffic conditions and greater safety for pedestrians and drivers.
The president of Deracre, Sula Ximenes, highlighted that asphalting meets a long-standing demand from the population and directly improves the city’s routine. “This is a street widely used by residents and those who work in the region. The asphalt brings more safety, comfort and changes the daily lives of those who pass by here every day”, he stated.
According to the president, the service is being carried out with hot machined asphalt, which guarantees greater durability to the road. “We take care of the drainage, the base and the asphalt to deliver a street in good condition and avoid problems in the future. It’s a job made to last”, explained Sula Ximenes.
The intervention integrates the set of urban infrastructure works carried out by the government of Acre in Feijó, focusing on improving mobility and quality of life
