CazéTV and Grupo Globo will together lead an event in which the official brand of the Women’s World Cup, to be held in Brazil in 2027, will be revealed. The situation once again brought to light the rumor that CazéTV would be owned by Globo.
However, this is nothing more than a rumor. CazéTV is majority owned by LiveMode, a Brazilian sports media and marketing company. In November 2022, streamer Casimiro Miguel launched the channel in partnership with LiveMode, becoming the face of the business and minority partner.
It is LiveMode, with its directors, that negotiates the events that will be broadcast live.

Who owns CazéTV?
The LiveMode agency, which owns most of CazéTV, has directors from the former Esporte Interativo and is supported by XP Investimentos and sponsored by major brands such as iFood, Coca-Cola, Itaú and Brahma.
LiveMode announced in April 2024 the sale of a minority stake in the company to General Atlantic and XP Private Equity, in an operation whose value and percentage acquired were not disclosed.
The CazéTV project gained prominence thanks to Casimiro’s charisma. CazéTV has set up a strong professional structure, with a studio team, experienced directors and major sponsors, and has successfully positioned itself in the era of sports streaming.
This growth occurred precisely at a time when streaming became dominant in Brazil: currently, 44.8% of Brazilians watch more streaming than open and cable TV combined.
Although it hired professionals who worked at Globo, there is no corporate link or control of Grupo Globo in CazéTV. The channel operates autonomously, directly negotiating broadcasting rights.
CazéTV and Globo at the Women’s World Cup
This Sunday (25), FIFA promotes the official presentation of the tournament’s identity, revealing the logo and other visual elements of the competition. To conduct the event, two prominent names from the broadcasters were invited: Luís Roberto, Globo’s main narrator on open TV, and Bárbara Coelho, one of CazéTV’s main presenters.
The ceremony will also be attended by Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA. The program will begin at the Fairmont Hotel, in Copacabana, and then head to the beachfront, where the Tournament Launch Show will take place, responsible for revealing the World Cup brand.
CazéTV will show the event live from 11am on YouTube, with wide coverage on social media, while Globo will make live appearances during Esporte Espetacular, presented by Karine Alves.
In addition to the presentation of the visual identity, the event will also feature a festive match between football legends, on a field set up on Copacabana beach itself. Names such as Cristiane, Formiga, Cafu, Bebeto, Pretinha and Mauro Silva are confirmed.
