The family of Monika Jákliová reacted with an official statement on Sunday morning to the speculations and conflicting information that circulated on the Internet after the tragic car accident of a well-known influencer. Jákli’s brother Isztván spoke on behalf of the family. Right at the beginning, he thanked for the many condolences that came to them and later they will also inform the public about the date of the final farewell.
“Unfortunately, a lot of false and unfounded information has appeared recently, leading to uncertainty and speculation. We would like to state unequivocally that we know exactly all the currently known circumstances of the events preceding the accident. Based on the available information and evidence, it can be unequivocally ruled out that anyone attacked or stalked my sister in the hours before her death.” said in the statement.
“Regarding the events, only the family of the deceased – mother and sibling – can provide reliable information. All other statements of persons outside the family – given that they do not have direct, complete and verified information – cannot be considered credible or justified. At the same time, we announce that the family does not want to comment on the events for the media. The family will not release details of the events leading up to the accident for reasons of privacy. We ask everyone to refrain from speculation and the spread of false, supposition-based or unverified information, with special regard to the family and children,” added Jákli’s brother.
Right from the beginning of the accident, several questions started to arise, mainly related to the accident itself, for example, at what speed she was going and what happened before and immediately after the accident is also questionable. The Civil Guard of the Slovak Republic was also involved in the medialized case. which on that very day asked people from several villages for possible camera recordings from the fateful night.
On Saturday evening, in which he chronologically explains what could have happened in the early hours of Wednesday morning. At the same time they emphasized that these are unofficial findings, but they were compiled on the basis of information collected at the request of the family, witness statements and technical evidence. Some of them are not confirmed and will have to be clarified by the relevant authorities.
