A serious traffic accident recorded this Saturday afternoon (24), on Ramal 3, in Cruzeiro do Sul, in the interior of Acre, resulted in the death of young Itamar, aged 22. The collision involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction of the road.

According to preliminary information, the impact was violent and the motorcycle driver suffered serious injuries. A unit from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called and traveled to the scene to provide assistance. However, upon arrival, the team only confirmed the victim’s death.
Residents of the region reported that the young man succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident, before any referral to a health unit. The circumstances that led to the collision have not yet been clarified.
The case must be investigated by the competent authorities, who will determine the causes of the accident and possible responsibilities.
