Subjected to a breathalyzer test, the device showed 5.53 mg/L of alcohol per liter of alveolar air, a rate extremely higher than that permitted by law. According to the Brazilian Traffic Code (CTB), driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol at high levels constitutes a traffic crime.
Following this finding, the man was arrested and taken to the Cruzeiro do Sul Civil Police Station, where the appropriate legal procedures were adopted. The motorcycle was seized, and the case remains under the responsibility of the police authorities.
The Military Police reinforced that inspection actions such as blitzes aim to curb dangerous traffic practices and ensure greater safety for drivers and pedestrians, especially on highways in the interior of the state.
