Reichel revealed how Černak predicted his own downfall: He didn’t want to live behind bars! He had a dark plan

They were once inseparable allies who had each other’s backs. Although they are united by the dark era of the underworld, today Mikuláš Černák (59) and Milan Reichel (59) cannot come up with a name. In the podcast, Popradčan revived the memories of his former friend, with whom he once had a strong bond.

The former bodybuilder, who is still considered by many citizens to be the former boss of the Poprad underworld, once maintained good relations with the life-sentenced prisoner. Over the years, he has witnessed events that most people could hardly imagine, but he is currently revealing his true opinion of the ex-mafia.

Reichel also recently recalled one of their conversations together. “Černák himself assumed that it would turn out this way, because once in 1995 he ran up with a pile of papers (newspapers, editor’s note), I don’t know where he got it from. And he says to me at the reception: ‘Look what they write about us, about them from Banská Bystrica and what murders happened there’.” he described the situation.

In the 1990s, he was the owner of the Gerlach Hotel in Poprad, where Černák regularly visited. “I tell him, what are you going to do when they lock you up and you get life imprisonment? And he tells me: ‘I’m going to kill myself’. That’s how I’m going to take my own life,” interpreted his words. The former mafia boss spent more than 28 years behind bars and it is not excluded that he will spend the rest of his life in prison.

The former boss of the Banská Bystrica underworld is serving a life sentence for committing and participating in several murders. Life convicts can apply for parole after 25 years in prison. Last autumn, the court came to the conclusion that it is not possible to reasonably expect Černak to lead a normal life after parole. The chairman of the senate pointed out that Černak carried out the criminal activity in a serious, cruel and socially unacceptable manner.
