Rio Acre leaves alert quota in Rio Branco and rivers in the state go into low water, according to bulletin

The government of Acre, through the State Civil Defense and with data from the National Water Agency (ANA), released this Sunday morning, the 25th, the updated bulletin on river levels in the state. Monitoring points to a scenario of stability, with emphasis on the capital, Rio Branco, which left the alert level after a significant reduction in the level of the Acre River.

In Rio Branco, the Acre River recorded a low tide in the last 24 hours, with a drop of 1.03 meters. The spring, which was at 13.92 m, now measures 12.89, falling below the alert level, which is 13.50 m.

Other municipalities in the basin also show declines. In Capixaba, the Acre River dropped 1.43 m, reaching 7.29 m.

In upper Acre, a reduction was also recorded. In Assis Brasil, the level of the River fell 57 cm, standing at 3.75 m. In Brasileia and Epitaciolândia, the level dropped to 3.84 m (drop of 25 cm). In Xapuri, the river showed stability, remaining at 8.01 m.

The Riozinho do Rola, which is an important tributary in the capital, dropped 72 cm, reaching 10.16 m.

Juruá Valley and Envira

In the Juruá region, monitoring indicates a gradual improvement. In Cruzeiro do Sul, the river is just 1 cm away from leaving the alert level (11.80 m), measuring 11.81 m after a low tide of 6 cm.

In the Tarauacá and Envira basins, the scenario is one of significant decline. In Tarauacá the level fell by 65 cm, standing at 7.47 m. The Envira River, in Feijó, recorded a low tide of 23 cm, reaching 4.82 m.

Monitoring and Alerting

Although the general trend is downward, Civil Defense remains alert for specific points that have shown a slow rise.

In the Purus Basin, in Sena Madureira, the Iaco River rose 60 cm (13.14 m) and in Manoel Urbano, the Purus River rose 43 cm (11.17 m).

In the municipality of Plácido de Castro, the Abunã River registers 11.88 m and is close to the alert level, stipulated at 12.00 m.

The State Civil Defense reinforces that monitoring is continuous and, so far, there are no indications of new worsening in areas that are already experiencing low water levels.
