Ski crosser Takats is out of the Olympics due to a serious knee injury


Graz – The Lower Austrian ski crosser Tristan Takats suffered a serious knee injury and a fractured cervical vertebra in his World Cup fall in Veysonnaz on Friday. The 30-year-old is out of the upcoming Olympic Games for the rest of the season. As the ÖSV announced on Sunday, Takats suffered a torn cruciate ligament, lateral ligament and meniscus in his right knee. In addition, there was an undisplaced fracture of the seventh cervical vertebra.
