Chicken broth is one of the classic dishes of Polish cuisine, liked by both adults and children. In many homes it appears at least once a week, on Sunday. After cooking, however, meat remains, which some people treat as unnecessary, serving only to add flavor to the broth. Meanwhile, they can be used in the kitchen in many ways.
Broth meat is something that many people do not appreciate, treating it as “waste” from the aromatic broth. The truth is, however, that it is a pity to waste it, because it is very good and offers many culinary possibilities. Such meat can be used, for example, as a delicious stuffing for croquettes, pancakes or homemade dumplings.
Some people also add meat from the broth to casseroles, meatballs or cutlets to add flavor to these dishes and use the ingredients. You can also safely add such meat to creamy soups or one-pot dishes. This addition will make the meal even more valuable and filling.
This method of using the meat remaining from the broth is not obvious to everyone. However, I assure you that once you try it, you will keep coming back to this idea. Choose meat from the soup, parsley and carrot will also be useful – you don’t need much to make your sandwiches healthy and filling, and nothing will go to waste.
Ingredients:
- broth meat,
- broth parsley,
- broth carrot,
- onion,
- 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil,
- dried marjoram (teaspoon),
- nutmeg (half a teaspoon)
- a pinch of salt and pepper.
Transfer the meat from the broth to the blender bowl and add the parsley and carrots from the soup.
Mix with a blender until smooth. Peel the onion and cut it into cubes, fry it.
Add to blended meat and vegetables. Season to taste with a combination of spices: dried marjoram, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Mix.
Serve as an addition to your favorite bread.
