Jolo/Zamboanga – At least 15 people were killed in a ferry accident in the south of the Philippines. As the Philippine Coast Guard announced on Monday, 316 people were rescued. The search for dozens of missing people continues. The accident occurred when the passenger ship MV Trisha Kerstin 3 was en route to Jolo in Sulu Province after departing Zamboanga. The ship, which was approved for 352 people, had 332 passengers and 27 crew members on board.
