Blue EU MP Harald Vilimsky raved on Sunday about a “meeting of historic proportions”: For the first time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received Vilimsky, a top liberal politician. Not alone, but as part of a delegation from the “Patriots” group in the EU Parliament. Nevertheless, it was the clearest signal yet from the Israeli leadership that it would no longer avoid the FPÖ.
