On Monday, Ukrainian Prime Minister Julija Svyrydenková thanked the Czech government on the social network X for the planned supply of generators worth ten million crowns (approximately 412,000 euros), reports TASR.
“I sincerely thank the Czech Republic for its generous and timely energy assistance to Ukraine. The Czech government today allocated $500,000 to purchase generators for the Dnepropetrovsk frontline region by the end of the week. Your support saves lives, strengthens our resilience, and more than $6 million provided in just a few days demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to helping those in need,” the Ukrainian Prime Minister wrote.
Solidarity of the Czechs
Svyrydenková also thanked the three non-governmental organizations and all the residents of the Czech Republic, who in a few days collected several million to support the weakened energy sector of Ukraine. “True friendship transcends borders and we are proud to stand by such a steadfast partner,” she concluded.
