Politicians use social media to criticize the way the deputy conducted the entire demonstration
Left-wing politicians used social media this Sunday (25) to demonstrate about the victims of the lightning that struck Praça do Cruzeiro in Brasília during the “Walk for Freedom”, an event organized by Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG).
Federal deputy Erika Hilton (PSOL-SP) shared on the social network X his solidarity with the victims of what happened. She blamed Nikolas and other politicians who were at the demonstration. “This is a responsibility that also falls on all the other politicians who followed the walk”, he wrote. Federal deputies such as Gustavo Gayer (PL-GO) and André Fernandes (PL-CE) were present during the route.
My solidarity with the people injured after a lightning strike on the walk “led”, in a completely irresponsible way, by deputy Nikolas Ferreira.
Between protecting his supporters from a storm or losing his political timing, Nikolas chose to put people at risk…

Lindbergh Farias, deputy and PT leader in the Chamber, in addition to a post on X also made a video criticizing the walk and its consequences. He commented that the “march played with people’s lives” and at the end of the event “repeated the neglect”. He also said that the PL deputy made a disorderly speech without any words of solidarity with the victims.
From beginning to end, Nikolas’ “march” was marked by irresponsibility. He walked along BR-040 without informing the PRF, DNIT or competent authorities, closed the lane, occupied the road, and even had a helicopter landing on the edge of the road. He played with people’s lives.

As for the video, Farias says that all this event was designed to cover up the and promote the deputy as a right-wing leader. “The objective of this walk was to take the focus away from Banco Master, he is close to Daniel Vorcaro. He centered the speech on him, it was a personalistic thing, of dispute and leadership of this space of the extreme right”, he commented.
Do you know what Nikolas’ walking brand is? IRRESPONSIBILITY! It was irresponsible from start to finish and could not end in any other way than with a tragedy. Worse, all this to create a smokescreen to try to cover up its link with the Banco Master scandal. Node…

Another federal deputy who shared his indignation was Kiko Celeguim (PT-SP). He made it clear that, for him, what happened was not random. “It was not by chance, it was irresponsible: holding an event under rain, lightning and risk warnings, with children present, is exposing people to danger.” And he concluded by saying that this type of mobilization “is based on fanaticism and political calculation, not on the care of those who participate”.

Glauber Braga (PSOL-RJ) was succinct in his publication: “I hope that the people affected recover and are healthy to see the coup plotters held accountable”. The deputy concluded the post by saying that “there is plenty of political opportunism in the deputy”.
I hope that the people affected recover and are healthy enough to see the scammers held accountable.
On the networks, any solidarity with the people hospitalized by the lightning? None. For him, they are just side effects of his own irresponsibility. Always missing…— Glauber Braga (@Glauber_Braga)
