According to Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskov, Brussels leaders are “illiterate”. The Russian diplomat claims that “there is nothing to talk about” with Kaja Kallas and will wait for the head of EU diplomacy to “step down”.

Regarding Kaja Kallas, the Kremlin spokesman assured that “neither Russia nor the U.S. they will discuss anything with her” in reference to the war in Ukraine or any other type of issue. “We will never talk about anything with her and neither do Americans. This is obvious. What to do? We just have to wait for her to come out”.
Since the beginning of her mandate, at the end of 2024, the European Union’s high representative has been highly critical of the Russian military campaign in Ukraine and one of the main supporters of sanctions against the Kremlin.
