President of Ukraine said that the document on security guarantees offered by the US “is 100% ready”.

To end the war with Russia, Ukraine demands that to security be guaranteed post-conflict.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has repeated this idea, focusing on guarantees given by the USA. And, this Sunday, he announced an important advance: the document is ready.

“For us, the security guarantee is, first and foremost, a bilateral security guarantee for the United States. document is 100% ready. We are waiting for our partners to be ready, as well as the date and place for the signing”.

The announcement was made by the President of Ukraine, in a joint press conference with Gitanas Nauseda (President of Lithuania), and Karol Nawrocki (President of Poland).

The agreement will be forwarded for ratification to the US Congress and the Ukrainian parliament.

The leader of the Ukrainian Government reinforced that the Territorial issues continue to be a point of contention: “Our position in relation to our territory must be respected.”

And a membership of the European Unionuntil next year, is not forgotten. It would be a “guarantee of economic security”.

Remember that there were tripartites between Ukraine, Russia and the USA in Abu Dhabi in recent days. The next round of negotiations between representatives of these three countries will be on February 1st.
