Nove Mesto – Lisa Hauser secured a fixed participation in the mass start competition at the Olympic Games in Italy on Sunday. The 32-year-old Tyrolean took eighth place in the final 12.5-kilometer mass start race of the World Cup weekend in Nove Mesto and is therefore in the top 15 in the overall World Cup. Two shooting errors prevented her from achieving a better placement. Her ÖSV colleague Tamara Steiner was one of only two athletes in the field to make no mistakes and came eleventh.
