This was once again impressively demonstrated at the Hahnenkamm Race in Kitzbühel. On the first racing day of this annual highlight of the Ski World Cup, Marco Odermatt took first place in the Super G with a razor-thin lead. On the following day, in the downhill skiing on the infamous Streif, the exceptional Swiss athlete missed out on the gold medal as narrowly as he had won it the day before.
