A Globo revealed the first photo of the couple protagonists of the new six o’clock plot, “The Nobility of Love“. The duo represents the Brazil-Africa connection with the characters Dogperformed by Doubt Santose Tonhowhich is Ronald Sotto.
The universe of the serial involves African kings and queens, battles, power struggles and fights for justice and the awakening of love between an African princess and a mill worker from the Northeast. With romance and touches of humor, the soap opera is scheduled to premiere on March 16th.
The plot revolves around the meeting between the African princess Alika, who flees to Brazil, where she assumes the identity of Lúcia, after seeing the kingdom, which she would be queen, of Batanga fall into the hands of Jendal (); and Tonho, a mill worker, who dreams of having a piece of land to help his own people.
Their paths, marked by feeling and mystery, cross in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte, in the 1920s, and become one in the saga for peace and justice.
