Bernardo Zortea no Flamengo?
The initial strategy outlined by the Rio club involves a loan model, including a clause that allows for outright acquisition of the athlete at the end of the temporary period.
However, the Grêmio board maintains a position of security in relation to the player, as the Zortea’s contractual bond with the Rio Grande do Sul team extends until the end of 2027. In addition to contractual stability, Tricolor protected its assets with a significant termination fine, set at 60 million euros (R$373 million)making it difficult to leave without financial compensation
Currently, Bernardo Zortea is considered one of the main jewels of the Grêmio stable. After representing the club in the São Paulo Junior Football Cup, the midfielder received a period of rest, following the schedule established for base athletes. The expectation is that the player will return to Porto Alegre on February 2nd, the date on which he should resume his normal training and activity routine.
Flamengo showed interest in midfielder Bernardo Zortea, from Grêmio’s under-20s, and is evaluating a loan proposal with an option to buy.
At 18 years old, the player recently renewed his contract with Tricolor until December 2027, with an extension clause for another year.

How does Bernardo Sortea play?
Bernardo Zortea is a modern midfielder who stands out much more for his technical quality and vision of the game than for his physical strength or a player with more marking. Standing 1.84m tall and with a preferred right foot, he combines the tactical discipline of someone who has played as a defender at the youth level with the technical refinement inherited from futsal.
Although his original position is as the first midfielder, he has characteristics that allow him to act as a second midfielder or even a central midfielder. His transition from defense to midfield is fluid, facilitating tables and pivots.
