I hope I don’t need to use ‘a large naval armada’ against Iran, says Trump

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said this Tuesday (27) that he hopes he will not need to make use of the “large naval armada” that is being relocated towards Iran, in yet another episode of high pressure on the Persian regime.

In an interview with an American radio, Trump also said that “Israel would not exist without its actions”, which includes the attacks against Iran. On Monday, the 26th, the American president stated that he believes that Tehran wants an agreement and that the USA keeps the diplomatic route open, while Iran adopted a more warlike tone and said it was ready to respond to any attack.

Trump also commented on the advancement of the creation of the Peace Council for Gaza, which according to him could also, if necessary, have a decision-making role in other territories. Regarding Greenland, the president only said that the agreement “is going well”.
