A well-known Slovak singer has accepted an invitation to our podcast on the website Koktejl.sk Off Record with the musician Teri Čikoš. Lina Mayer brought an open, dynamic and inspiring interview that offered insight into her career so far and where she is headed today. Lina has been one of the most prominent faces of the Slovak pop scene for years.
In the podcast, we went back to the very beginning of her musical journey – to the first singles, the gradual building of her career and the moment when she the song Personal Sky shot up among the most played domestic artists. She talks about how her work has changed, what influenced her and how today she approaches music much more personally than at the beginning.
We touched her too working in the vocal group Fragilewhere, according to her own words, she gains valuable experience and “vocal fitness”, which also takes her further in her solo work. At the same time, Lina revealed that she is coming with a new single, for which a video clip is being created with a well-known Slovak actor in the lead role.
