In a phone call this Monday (26), President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva suggested to the North American leader, Donald Trump, that he restrict the so-called Peace Council, proposed by the United States, to issues involving and including the participation of a representative of the Palestinian Authority, the Palácio do Planalto said in a statement.
The suggestions made in the conversation do not guarantee and the Brazilian government did not give a final response to the proposal.
According to a Palace source, Brazilian participation depends on the North Americans’ response to the suggestions.
