And when their teams ask questions or offer suggestions, it is the middle manager who must find a way to translate their practical considerations into ‘strategic imperatives’ that are well received by senior management.”

The superiors of the middle manager give direction; your direct reports give you the big picture; their peers offer them perspectives on existing gaps.

The focus is to build a effective collaboration between different functional areas, reduce significantly the problems internal.
