Psychological help: Simmering is 50 times worse cared for than the inner city


The mental health system in Austria and especially in Vienna shows drastic regional and associated socioeconomic imbalances. This is the result of a comprehensive study by the Medical University of Vienna as part of the “Streamline” project. Accordingly, where you live determines how easily those affected can find professional help. While inner-city districts have a high density of therapists and doctors, there is sometimes an undersupply in the outer districts.
