New role at the club

Rafinha also explained what his role will be in São Paulo’s day-to-day life. According to him, the main mission is to act as link between board, players and coaching staffin addition to shielding the internal environment so that football is the priority.

“I’m going to act as a liaison between the board, players and coaching staff. I think that’s what São Paulo needs most now. The priority is football. Doing this shielding here at CT so that the focus is on playing ball”, he explained.
