Just a few simple steps are enough to create a treat at home that the whole family will love. This is a great way to enjoy the tradition on Fat Thursday without giving up your diet.

If you want to prepare donuts in a lighter version than traditional ones, it is worth using a certain recipe. In this version they are not fried, but baked, thanks to which the house not only does not have the characteristic smell of fat, but at the same time we can enjoy a delicious and delicate snack without excess oil.

To prepare them we need: the following products:

  • 3 cups of wheat flour,
  • 3/4 cup of lukewarm plant milk,
  • 1 package of instant yeast,
  • 4 tablespoons of cane sugar,
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar,
  • 3/4 cup of sweet potato puree,
  • 4 tablespoons of melted coconut oil,
  • marmalade for stuffing,
  • powdered sugar to sprinkle the donuts.

These seemingly unusual ingredients will allow us to prepare them a unique delicacy that the household will love. Just a few simple steps are enough to enjoy light and delicious donuts.

To prepare baked donuts, we start with preparing the dough. Pour the flour into a large bowl, add yeast, salt, vanilla sugar, cane sugar and salt. We also pour in lukewarm milk and mix everything for a while. Be careful not to knead the dough for too long.

We are gradually, we will gradually add purée from the batata. After adding each tablespoon, knead the dough by hand until the mixture becomes smooth, elastic and soft. Then add melted coconut oil, also adding it in batches. Knead the dough until it is elastic, uniform and slightly sticky.
