After landslide in Indonesia: death toll rises to 50


Jakarta – The number of victims has continued to rise after a devastating landslide in Indonesia. Local police said 50 bodies have now been recovered and more than 30 people are still missing. The accident occurred as a result of heavy rain late on Friday in a village in West Java province on the main island of Java. Suddenly a slope slipped, burying a village under tons of mud.
