Arsenal and ASFAR, from Morocco, take to the field this Wednesday (28), at 3pm (Brasília time), in the semi-final of the 2026 Women’s Champions Cup, an unprecedented competition organized by FIFA with the champions of each continent. The match will be held at the Brentford Community Stadium, in London.
Whoever wins will face Corinthians in the grand final of the tournament, scheduled for next Sunday, February 1st, at 3pm (Brasília time).

Arsenal x ASFAR: game information
Arsenal, European champions, face ASFAR, the African representative on London soil. The duel is worth a place in the final and the chance to compete for the first club world title organized by FIFA.
Arsenal secured their presence in the tournament by winning the UEFA Women’s Champions League, beating Barcelona 1-0 in the decision played in Lisbon, with a goal scored by Stina Blackstenius.
The start of the season was not so positive for Arsenal. The team led by Renee Slegers drew goalless with Manchester United in the Women’s Super League and, subsequently, ended up being defeated by the same rival 1-0, in the semi-final of the League Cup.
Despite this, the team reacted by beating Aston Villa 2-0 in the WSL and, soon after, achieving an important 2-0 victory over Chelsea, the current national champion, in the last match before the Women’s Champions Cup.
ASFAR reached the competition after lifting the CAF Women’s Champions League trophy, beating ASEC Mimosas 2-1 in the final. Before the semi-final, the Moroccan team eliminated Wuhan Chegu Jiangda WFC, from China, in the preliminary round of the Champions Cup.
The Moroccan team has played just one match since the beginning of the year and emerged victorious. The African champions defeated rival FUS Rabat 4-1 in the local classic, valid for the Moroccan Championship.
Currently, the team occupies second place in the table, with one point less than Wydad Casablanca, to whom they defeated 5-0 in the most recent clash, in December.
