Given the situation, Brasiléia City Hall carried out, this Tuesday (27), a technical inspection at the site to assess the damage caused to the structure and traffic conditions. The action was led by the Municipal Department of Works.

The Secretary of Works, Josué Elias, was at the branch accompanied by a technical team, where a preliminary diagnosis of the bridge was carried out and alternatives for reestablishing the circulation of vehicles and pedestrians were analyzed.

According to the municipal administration, the technical survey aims to guide the next measures and guarantee the right to come and go for the population that depends on the branch on a daily basis.

The Santa Helena Branch is a strategic route for rural communities, being used by residents, rural producers and students. The city hall informed that new measures will be defined after the completion of the technical assessment carried out on site.
