Enel outsourced employee dies after electrical discharge in São Paulo

An Enel outsourced employee died on Tuesday afternoon (27) after suffering a electrical discharge while working on Rua José Rubens, in Butantã, west of São Paulo. The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP) confirmed the death.

According to the SSP-SP, military police were called to respond to the incident at the scene. It was found that the 40-year-old man was carrying out power wire repairs when it received the discharge. The professional was rescued, but did not survive his injuries.

Forensics were called to examine the scene of the incident. The case was registered as accidental death in the 89th DP (Jardim Taboão).

In a note, the Enel mourned the death of his collaborator, which belonged to a partner company of the company. According to the distributor, the professional was working on a network improvement project at the time of the accident.
